Become a Student: Application Process

To enroll in the Emerge Learning Institute Pharmacy Technician Training Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

✅ Age: 18 years or older
✅ Education: High school diploma or G.E.D., or documentation of active progress toward completion.**
✅ Identification: Valid government-issued photo ID
✅ Technology: Reliable internet access and a device capable of accessing required online course materials and virtual instruction, when applicable
✅ Program Commitment: Ability to meet attendance, coursework, and academic requirements throughout the program

IMPORTANT NOTE

Additional requirements may apply for pharmacy technician licensure/registration, experiential learning, externship placement, and employment. These may include background screening, drug screening, immunization or health documentation, and other requirements established by state regulators or participating pharmacy/healthcare organizations.

Meeting ELI's enrollment requirements does not guarantee eligibility for licensure, externship placement, national certification, or employment.

**If you do not have a high school diploma or G.E.D., you must submit proof from your school (such as an official letter) and provide documentation that you are actively pursuing completion.

All prospective students must complete an enrollment application and ELI's admissions process before being accepted into the Pharmacy Technician Training Program.

✅ Step 1: Apply — Complete and submit the online enrollment application.

✅ Step 2: Interview — Qualified applicants will be invited to complete an admissions interview.

✅ Step 3: Admission Decision — Applicants will be notified of their admission status and, if accepted, receive instructions for completing enrollment.

Upcoming cohorts may have limited enrollment. Early application is encouraged.

Upon acceptance into your selected course, the training fee can be paid in full or through a no-interest payment plan for added flexibility.

The training fee includes your national certification exam fee.

Not included in the training fee and may include:

Books & Course Materials — Required textbooks and learning resources

Pharmacy Technician License or Registration 

— As required by applicable state regulations

Background Check 

— May be required for experiential learning or externship participation

Drug Screen — May be required by participating experiential learning or externship sites
